named Rodwell and Baxter? Rodwell is supposed to be the most talented defender in England. He is only 15 years old and is already in the U16 squad for England. It has been said that we have been willing to pay alot for this boy.

Baxter is only 14 years old, but is, by those who have seen them both, rated above for example Potter. He is a regular at Evertons U16 team and Ray Hall (acadamy manager at Everton) claim that he is better than Rooney was.

Where do you get all these juicy titbits from, anders?

Ironic? Cant remember to have written other titbits?

This is picked up at another forum (the man behind it is credible). I read in a lot of different forums.

Everton's Under-15s face Arsenal in the final of the Nike Premier Cup at Warwick University on Thursday, April 13.

The victors of the tournament, which has involved every Premiership club along with Glasgow Rangers from north of the border, will then be entered into the global finals of one of the world's most prestigious youth tournaments.

This year's finals will be held at Manchester United's Carrington training base, with the final itself being played at Old Trafford in the summer.

To reach Thursday's final the U-15s had to progress beyond a tough group stage.

Everton remained unbeaten in the group, playing out a goalless draw with Arsenal before defeating Middlesbrough 2-1 and recording further draws against Aston Villa and Fulham.

Having finished as runners-up behind Arsenal, who won every other group match following thier draw with Everton, the Blues defeated Tottenham 2-1 in the quarter-finals and Southampton 1-0 in the semi-final.

Striker Jose Baxter is the top scorer in the tournament with five goals going into the final.
Found this about Baxter on the Everton web site.

Apparently he has broken goalscoring records in almost every tournement he has taking part in. Not long ago he played in an international tournement where he broke a record which went all the way back to Kluivert, despite playing in central defence in the semifinal and the final.

Would be great if we could bring him to our academy, it is not very unlikely that we'll try.

Harry?

Everton Academy players Cory Sinott and Jack Rodwell have both received international call-ups.

The pair have been included in Kenny Swain's England Under 17s squad that will take part in the Nordic Tournament later this month.

The competition will be played in the Faroe Islands and Blues defenders, Sinott and Rodwell, will hope to figure largely in England's Group B matches against Sweden, Denmark and the host nation - who will be fielding an Under 19s team.
Found this about Rodwell. Also on Everton website.

Best way to get more info on them would be to infiltrate a Toffees forum...there's bound to be a few people on there interested in their academy.

Apparantly, Man Utd gave a bid for Rooney on £5 mill when he was 15 years old, the same amount is mentioned for Rodwell.
