People need to realise that this is all part of Maywhether(thats he's name) strategy. Maywhether is a counter-puncher and relies on all of he's opponents to come toward him.
Winding up Hatton is more likely to make him come forward with the sole intention of trying to take Maywhethers head off, that suits floyd perfectly as thats he's style. He did exactly the same thing to De la hoya which is why he beat him.
As for Hatton beating Maywhether, no chance.
kinell, Mayweather in full United kit.... I have to stick up for Mayweather now.
I would think that most of the members would want Hatton to win. But I would be surprised if there were a lot that would put money on Hatton wining.
Fighting at 147 lbs will hurt Hatton. He is much more effective at 140lbs, he is just too slow and sluggish at 1471bs. While Mayweather is a natural welterweight.
Hatton represents everything I like in a fighter, while Mayweather represents every thing I despise. Unfortunately the rules in boxing today benefit boxers like Mayweather and penalize fighters like Hatton.
There used to be an old adage in boxing, that you could run but you could not hide. But that is no longer true. Today the rings are too big, the ropes are too loose and title fights are only 12 rounds not 15 like they used to be.
The fight in Vegas is going to be in big ring and Hatton will not be able to cut off Mayweather and pound him to body and slow him down enough so to land some telling head shots. The odd time he does catch Mayweather, Mayweather will lean on the ropes and slide away.
Mayweather is a great defensive fighter, incredibly hard to hit and has to much speed for Hatton. Mayweather never throws combinations, it's just one punch and then he's out. Makes for a terrible fight to watch, but I don't know if Hatton will be able to hit him.
Mayweather will stick and jab and dance away all night, and he will pile up the points with his jabs and win the fight on an unanimous decision.

When exactly is it on?
Early December. Not sure of the date.
Fcukin hell, spoil it for us that dont know why don't you. I'd like to think it won't be as straightforward as that ... and while I am backing Mayweather I don't want it to be as one sided as you claim ... its s'posed to be entertainment ffs.
Are you having a flutter on this by chance as you seem pretty certain?
december 9th i think

and in that post lies the reasons hatton will win. Because I think in this post is everything that mayweather believes and both of you completley underestimate hatton.
Ricky is the best pressure fighter in the world, and regardless of the size of the ring he will get close and apply the kind of pressure that mayweather will never have witnessed in his life.
Ricky himself is quick agile and slips enough punches to make himself a difficult target and once he gets close his body shots will wear mayweather down.
Expect mayweather to win the early exchanges but he will tire and then hattons stregnth will take over.
Also you talk about the weight, hatton has fought once and at short notice and wasnt too bad. He will learn from that and be stronger for this one. Billy Graham is renowned for conditioning his boxers and if theres one thing you can be sure of for this fight is that ricky will be in perfect condition and strong. Mayweather on the other hand last fought at Light Middle and is involved in come prancing so his conditioning will NOT be any where near as good as hattons.

I stopped reading there. Have you seen any of Mayweather's fights? The guy completely dominates the late rounds. De La hoya being the most recent example of this.
I expect him to win the early exchanges as his speed will get him out of trouble, ricky dominates fights and wears fighters down. By the end of it mayweather will feel like hes done 24 rounds not 12.
As for the De La Hoya fight, yes I did see it and of course he dominated the later rounds. De La Hoya is an aging fighter ho legs were going by the end of it. Completely different story against hatton who will be just as strong at the end of the fight as the start of it.
Hatton will go for broke in the early rounds. Most fighters come after mayweather and Hatton will be no different. He will tire himself out because at the end of the day most of his punches will find nothing but air. and every time he misses Mayweather will land a jab and dance to another part of the ring. He is just too fast for Hatton. Hatton might not tire like De La Hoya did but it makes no difference because a fight like will only make an inside fighter look bad and thats exactly what Hatton is. Mayweather will win by unanimous decision.
Think we definately see the fight going different ways. I do understand what u say about hatton but hes not the kind of fighter to be throwing wild punches. He does most of his work up close and he will get in close im sure of it. plus he throws a lot of punches from angles that catch fighters unawares.
