I thought Turkey had some really inspired football in the World Cup and most of which came from this guy. Tremendously composed on the ball. Extremely gifted technically and quite quick. Awesome winger in my estimation.
Anyone knows of this guy's availability? Or why we would not sign him?
I was also having in mind players like Yildiray Basturk (in the not so off event that Leverkusen were to be relegated from the Bundesliga).
Or Emre Belozoglu - quite a brilliant creator. I would love him to fill in Cantona's role of retreated striker - he would provide awesome variation from Scholes/Veron/Giggs as and when needed. In which case, we would not need a striker - I really don't mind the 4-5-1 at all, so I would go with this kind of a system quite embracingly.
