Has this season vindicated Moyes at all?

What do you think? It's clear to me the problem isn't 5-3-2, 4-4-2, Moyes dinosaur tactics, LVG being too clever, no investment, over investment etc etc.

The problem is we've got players who aren't good enough. Wilson hasn't done enough. RVP hasn't been good enough this season. Blackett isn't a United player. Falcao has been really poor. Shaw has started his career averagely. Rafael is dead.

We have deep problems at this club. Let's not turn on another manager, we can't keep sacking managers like we did Moyes, we get nowhere.

I think it's fair to say last season's United would have twatted Cambridge 4-0.

I have no fecking clue what's going on with us right now.

I thought we put this to bed when Louis van Gaal beat Liverpool 3-0 with the exact same team Moyes had available.

Falcao poor? Did you not see the runs he was making, he just needed somebody to pick him out more often.

The squad is good enough for top four and that should be the expectation. Louis van Gaal will not be sacked if he gets it, if he doesn't then it's up to the board to make the right call.

As of now we are in the top four so it's a bit early to start talking about sacking or not sacking the manager.

The players didn't want Moyes. There was nothing he could do at this club. LVG is his own worst enemy at the moment.

Moyes got more stick than he deserved but really this season has nothing to teach us about his reign.

THIS. THIS. A MILLION TIMES THIS!

Different players, different team. Move on

We should all hold LvG accountable to the excpectations of the club not in comparison to Moyes

We spent 150 million on improving a squad that already had DDG, Carrick, Mata, Rooney and RvP in it. LVG is doing a lousy job, it's that simple. It's impressive how little he's getting out of his resources.

No. Moyes wasn't good enough. Van Gaal is too fecking stubborn and doesn't tell them to take risks and make things happen. One of the main reasons Moyes got sacked was because we were too boring, too slow, too defensive, nobody took risks. All those can apply to Van Gaal so far as well. He's a much better manager and can have us playing a lot better but feck me, grow a pair LvG and have a go like we did earlier on in the season. Football is an entertainment business, I'd much rather win 4-0 one week then lose 5-3 the next like at the start, having exciting games, rather then win 1-0 every now and then but draw almost every other game and have so many clean sheets against us.

No. Van Gaal's doubtful decision making and stubborness does not vindicate Moyes at all. He was still shite at his job (has been pretty terrible for Sociedad too).

No experience managing at the top level, some senior players trying to undermine him, directly replacing arguably the greatest football manager of all the time, a rookie CEO behind him, and a section of the fanbase who never wanted him from day dot.

Moyes had a lot to contend with, and yet I can't say, *at this point*, that the vastly experienced and widely respected LvG has been much better, if he's been better at all.

The job is a very, very difficult one, that much is now clear.

With Van Gaal the problem is just tactics. With Moyes it's everything from the training ground to the cafeteria.

No. Moyes was a Scottish dinosaur man who killed our players thanks to his excessive running drills in training. It's obvious our mass injuries this season are all down to Moyes, like they were last season.

He force fed Kagawa and made LVG sell him, destroyed RVP and signed Fellaini. Forget about the fact 5 of the players today didn't ever play under Moyes because its clear the club has been mortally wounded by him.

No. Moyes was truly awful in pretty much every department. Whilst I'm not happy with the way we are playing at times it's nothing like last year. There are definitely improvements at the club.

How many tries are you going to try to "vindicate" Moyes? No, even if Van Gaal fails, that won't vindicate Moyes.

I was a big Moyes Out supporter..however, now I am starting to wonder...sad times.
