he's at least starting to attatck the left hand side again and even if he drifted in and out of the game 1 goal and 2 assists should mean after these past performances Roy will give him a pat on the back wont he? or should we wait til june to hand him a cigar

slowing but steadly....giggs will be back soon.everyone knows what he is capable of.

Tues he`ll be back, he loves european nights at old trafford and i think he`ll be on the score sheet aswell :)

He is making more and more of them glancing headers every match. Never considered him to be a good header of the ball.

I remember after numerous attempts to quit smoking my sister was offered £500 from my Dad if she could give them up. Initially she was over the moon with the idea, until my Dad revealed to her that "quiting" means coming back to him in 12 months time, nicotine free, to collect the cheque.

Now let's talk about Giggs and whether he's proved his critics wrong shall we ?

I mentioned this in another thread. He is valuable to the team, not neccessarily because he scores goals, but for the little things he is capable of doing to allow V. Nistelroy, Scholes and others to score. The goals are, in my estimation, just bonuses. He is a great all around player and I hope his critics are silenced once and for all.

Its never enough for you guys is it?

here here,...Giggsy will always be one of our greatest players. Game in and out he always is a key factor in the game. Some people claimor on about his " dip " in form. and fail to see what he actually does. He has another 4-5 years of good football left in him.. and as far as i'm concerned that's what he has been giving us.

Nowadays, most of the defenders know Giggsy's way of playing, this is why he can no longer play like he used to. He's been the same Giggsy everytime, it's just that during this time he lacked some "genius" move to bypass the defenders.

He's a grown as well as a complete player now, and he's starting to learn how to adapt normal football with his skills... which may be very lethal for the opponents... BEWARE! ;)

Hat's off Giggsy!!!

Don't get me wrong, I think Giggs played well against Charlton and I hear that he played well against Olympiakos but I have not seen him beat a player in a little while now. Unless he went on one of those dazzling runs against Olympiakos, in which case I'll retract this statement, I'd like to see him take players on again. Vs. Charlton especially I was looking for it, and didn't see him even attempt. Giggsy's greatest skill is on the ball, beating defenders, so why hasn't he been doing it lately. I miss seeing him running down the wing and scaring the pants off opposition defenders.

He's so much better playing on the left. Its his natural position. The opposition would rather Giggsy playing in the middle because they can put 2 or 3 players on him and mark him out of the game. When he's on the left he can get one on one with their right back and murder him.

I would think the performance against Charleton and then two goals against Olympiakos should silence many critics. He was not the only one with the bad start and of course injuries have only exasperated the situation for the whole team. They seem to be coming together at the right time.
