after every game, Phil Thompson says....
'I can't fault my players today, they were MAGNIFICENT'.
Change the fecking record pinnochio, your players have been garbage recently. Villa will be the next to turn you over.
 
He's a scouser, they'll say anything to nick someones job. GH used to say it how it was. I respected him then and now. He may be a frog and a scouser but he is a stand up fellah. Thompson is after his job and will do owt to get it which includes saying his players played 'magnificent' (he's trying to get them on his side)... Look at the size of his conk ffs, he's lied all his life!

PT is a stand-in manager, and has done magnificently since he has been in that position.

When Ged gets back (Soon hopefully) then we can once again continue. I think that if Phil can learn from Ged for the years ahead, he would have the knowledge and ability to take over the reins then - you're line of continuity will have been broken once 'Sir' Alex leaves - you'll start again and will either turn into the greatest team ever - or will look like Chelsea - a big-name foreign coach will be looking to replace the English players with Italians and Spanish and French ones - should be a good laugh! :D

What do you expect Thompson to say?
I mean really, Liverpool players do actually work their socks off for Thompson and with the Fowler and Houllier fiasco, I feel they have done well.
Thompson deserves some respect for the job he has done - most managers would do the same.
I do find it rather annoying but it is part of football so there is no use complaining - then you are just as bad as him. ;)
