There is light in the tunnel and we have finally tasred it.

For the first time in this season we were magnificent. The team acted intelligently, fought for every ball and showed his full potential.

Newcastle were humilated not buy a star studded team but by those who have the TALENT and the fighting spirit to win.

GK only dissapointment. when he will learn to lead the defense rather than flick up and do silly things

Def everyone covered Blancs lack of pace making him look solid. O Shea was magnificent, Silvestre his usual self and brown is slowly improving. An intelligent defense without the Nevilles mistaking the ball and givin it away ridiculously

Midfield without prima donnas )Veron)the midfield faught for every ball. Scholes was magnificent in his natural role while giggs and solsykear fully exploited the wings. It was as if i was watching the 1999 team, aggresive intelligent and creative. PLS SAF do not move scholes from his role

Att Forlan wasnt dangerous but his working rate and technique were terrific and RVN showed that when he is given good balls he dont spoil them

HARD WORK, Intelligence and PRIDE is the answer for our return to glory. WELL DONE BOYS, You acted as 11 warriors and deserved the win

I agree with all of that apart from Silvestre who had one of the best games I've seen him play.

Told ya so all you muppets out there... the hard work will pay off one way or another.

Disagree about Forlan. Forlan was very dangerous, and he was unlucky not to get that goal which he deserved. If Giggs had gotten the loose ball, that would be a hattrick of assists wouldn't it?

Yep - corrected on Forlan - he was great today. The interesting point he makes is that concerning the hunger of the less established player.

Sorry - forgot Diego's ball to Solskjaer. He did have a hattrick of assists after all.

Oh god my hangover is starting... but the pain will be worth it. <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" />

Come on Devlish - Blanc had a very solid game and we looked weak when he went off - better hope he's fit on Tuesday or you'll see how much we miss him.

I thought it was Silvstre who passed it to Solksjaer?

I really wish I had a gun, because I definately would have shot you. You just haven't a clue. I'm sorry. totally, utterly, clueless.

Once's Mr turtle left and we brought on another pacy defender we saw how 'good' we defended with plenty of pace but no experience and the best defensive brain around.

The most important thing about today's performance was the fact thet Veron and Nevilles did not play

Yep, it was Silvestre. Silvestre and Diego both had two assists. :)

1stSilvestre usual self means good solid self. I like Silvestre, improving in the defense and wonderful when going forward ( and he is french!!!!!!)

2nd we have seen the team without the nevilles AND veron. the nevilles gives their heart out but dont have the talent to deliver it(comeon OShea overlapping and solidity makes the Nev look so ordinary) Veron does not win the ball and does seriously lack of pace, this was penalising in many crunch games including City. You can afford a jsv in the CL but not in the EPL.

Blanc played solidtly and the comment about Blanc (for the first time) was NOT an insult. The players had covered his weaknesses by fighting and working hard, which permitted him to play comftably

BTW I am NOT against Local lads

Yes i may be against the nevilles but I am 101% behind Scholes and O Shea. These players ARE MAGNIFICENT and deserve a first team play

That what I am searching in our team, a heart of a local lad and the talent of a world class player. That mixture should be given preferance on EVERYTHING.
