Before anyone goes on any more about what happened today, please watch again and see how McAteer was trying his best to wind Roy up, and it worked, why?, cause the man is only human. If you love the way he plays but hate him when he is sent of,then your not resonable, nobody is perfect. As for McAteer if he wants to ever captain my country again, then he better grow up, or we the Irish will soon realise what he is made off. Thank god fergie spoiled Niall Quinns PR exercise at the end of the game, trying to shake Keanes hand after he and the rest of the senior Irish squad betrayed him in Saipan.

I could never hate Keane.

Doesn't stop me being disappointed that he couldn't rise above it though.

Everyone is going to set out to bait him now.

And I hate you more - ;) - for making certain promises that you don't keep.

:)

Alls fair in love war and football. McAteer carried out his role to perfection, as far as Sunderland are concerned.

If a team learns that all they need to do to neutralise our best player is to get a talentless wind-up merchant to follow him around - then that is exactly what they'll do.

Lesser players have been doing it to Roy for years. And because of HIS book, he's going to have to get used to this for a few more.
