Tomorrow the second stage starts

Croatia
France
Sweeden
Hungary
Slovakia
Korea


Group 2
Germany
Denmark
Macedonia
Serbia
Norway
Poland

Top 2 of each group go in the semis

jk, I like always liked to play that sport although it seems insanely more popular in central/eastern europe
 
I would follow but our national team somehow failed to qualify which is frankly astounding as we finished second at the Olympics.
 
I do, we are playing Norway today with hope for qualifying which is quite amazing seeing as we started the second round with no points. The whole country has basically gone mental.

I haven't really followed it that much, I see that Poland kicked our arse (Serbias) the other day though. All that it proves is that Croatia is not ready to host a major tournament, some of the racism thats been happening to Serbia has been disgraceful..

- Not allowing the Serb flag to be hung up
- Hooligans smashing anything with a Belgrade license plate
- Croats singing 'Kill the Serbs' during our matches against NON croat teams.

No one bats a fecking eyelid though but if it was the other way round we would be strung by our bollocks.

We were probably the worse team today but who cares, what a finish. Down by 2 goals with 90 seconds to go, I still can't believe we did it. Last 15 seconds were amazing with Siodmiak's goal.

It's been an amazing tournament for us. Hope we can overcome Croatians and play in the final again, this time I think we could win it.
 
No points at the beginning of the second group phase, but we are in the next round :) Amazing.

Sorry, but nobody will beat Croatians on this tournament. Even a virtual team of 6 Karabatics wouldn't make it.

You should heard the commentators on DSF when the score was 30-30...:lol:
 
I hate handball tournaments. They're not speaking about anything else when it's on here in Denmark. It almost gets more coverage than the fecking World Cup in football.

They've cancelled the usual sports news on TV2 to speak about the tournament three or four times a day. Madness!

We've been fighting against the odds throughout the entire tournament, I think we can do it. Will be extremely difficult but that's when usually Poland start to perform.

I don't think so. I can't imagine why would anybody underestimate Poland, the current vice-champions of the world. You did quite well in a though group and you would certainly had a good chance against France (without Dinart) or Denmark, but unfortunately, Croatia is unbeatable on this tournament.
 
We didn't stand a chance against Croatia, but won a bronze medal after outplaying Denmark.

Croatia tied at 11-11 against France now, a very watchable game so far.
 
Been watching some of these on Bet365. Looks a great sport, very fast and attack based - viewer friendly.
 
Great match. What a nightmare it had to be for Croatia when they discovered that Dinart is going to play...:D
