and it really is incredible, I've been playing GTA 4 non stop, really is a brilliant game.

today because I got paid I went and got Gears of War (in anticipation for the new one) and Oblivion for 25 quid.

1st off... GOW is actually fecking brilliant. hilariously good fun.

2ndly... Oblivion is actually epic, just a shame there are a few frame rate issues.

These 3 will keep me going a while, and then thats where i'll be getting the following

Fifa 09
Banjo-Kazooie (nuts and bolts)
TNA Impact
Fable 2

Nice one, you've bought yourself a great piece of gaming hardware, from the gamertag thread I can tell you didnt waste any time in going LIVE.

Id also recommend you try the following which for me represent the cream of the crop:

-Mass Effect (favourite game on the 360)
-BioShock
-COD4 (brilliant multiplayer)
-Halo 3 (as above)
-Forza 2 - if you like your cars
-The Orange Box

And look out for the following games in the near future:
-Fallout 3
-Gears 2
-Huxley
-Final fantasy 13 (if you like jrpgs)
-Resident Evil 5
-Left for dead.
 
Well i played a lot of COD4 on my PC, and played a lot round a mates 360. Also played Halo to death online with uni mates.

A do have a question though, I created a Live account on my mate's console (michaelness17) and it had a bit of data on it coz id played halo etc on it) now i have my new one (michaelnessness) is there anyway of transferring my email addy from one to another etc. or achievements from one to another.
 
You can recover the gamertag if you know the email address and password you used when you created it.

Afraid not mate - Gaming achievements bind to your gamertag and are hence permanent and non-transferable, otherwise you'd get people borrowing others' achievements to beef up their gamer score.

I could of easily brought up the old ''feel free to try the new GTA IV exclusive content around my place" or "dont worry I can always youtube you the extra fallout 3 perks I get" :p

Trust me many PS3 gamers care.

And its not like the extra pointless mini-game in the PS3 version of BioShock is going to upset many 360/PC gamers who've played the game to death for the last year :lol:
 
Everywhere i go in this forum, i am reminded of the fact that i won't be able to play FF13 and Versus.

sorry ill call it GeoW in the future :)

I was going to go with a PS3 mainly for Gran Turismo and MGS4 but all my mates have 360's and I like playing online with them.

meh...
 
I remember the day when I brought Jak & Daxter for the PS2, loved it. was a very fun and entertaining platformer that was generally awsome.

I finally thought I had found a game that could almost maybe quench my thirst for more Banjo-Kazooie.

Then the sequel came out, my mate purchased it and took it round mine.

it was crap, basically it had copied the GTA driving about stealing cars gimmick and as such has ruined the whole Jak & Daxter experience for me.

Now i find out they have made cars and vehicles the focus point of the new Banjo-Kazooie! what the hell is wrong with people who make games!!!??

Ratchet & Clank is the shining light.

Nice! But do look out for these three red lights, I've become so well aquainted with them that I call them by their first names;), they won't leave anyone out being the kind souls they are, you too will meet them in the not too distant future.
