For anyone interested End of May- Nottingham London, Liverpool, Newcastle, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester.

The problem here is will it actually be THEM.
I cant see Slash returning, Axl is still a nonce. Dilemma.

Slash is long gone, the current line-up features Axl and Dizzy Reed, other than that it's nothing like the better known line-ups. Izzy Stradlin occasionally joins them on stage for a song or two, but that's about it.

I saw them a few years ago with Buckethead (before they released chinese democracy) and they were very good. I saw them in 06 at donnington and they were ok, and then reading a couple of years back where they were average, they turned up late which annoyed the crowd and then the power got cut-off by the organisers before they'd finished their set which was very funny!

I saw a live stream of one of their performances in Chicago recently. Started very well, but about three quarters of the way through the show, Axl's voice started to go a bit wonky. Still a good show though.

The current band members obviously aren't the classic line-up, but they're very good. DJ Ashba and Ron Thal in particular are excellent guitarists.

Huge Guns fan and I even liked Chinese Democracy.

Disregarding the fact it's not the original band, they're (or should I say Axl) just far too unprofessional these days (late starts, finishing half-way through etc) to risk buying a ticket.

Average, Okay, hmm, not sounding good. I'll go anyway.

I saw them in 2006 and they were OUTSTANDING... almost as good as back in the day, it surprised many.

But I saw them again in 2010 and they were pretty average... Axl was the worst part of the show.
