Don't want him anymore.
He looked too damn smug when he scored.

No, there's a difference - all players celebrate, but this looked personal.

No, just a good judge of character.

He didn't have the same smug look as Eidur.
Eidur reminded me of whatsisface who played for Derby and scored against us. Felt like smacking him one as well.

There was a bit about Dutch football on the telly here earlier on and the lad was sitting there in a PSV polo.

If he had any respect for United he wouldn't have looke so smug. He didn't just look pleased, he looked like he was dissing us. So no. Not anymore.

How bout if he was playing for us and he scored a goal like that against the dippers ?

Probably.

I'm not saying he can't score good goals - I just got the impression that he wouldn't be a true United player that's all.
But it could have been my nerves. I'll look again later and see if I think the same.

Raoul, don't even bother, it's a girl thing: when they get that "I don't like him" thing in their minds there's nothing left to do...

Me too. Gudjohnsen looks like the type to come to Old Trafford, score about 30 goals in one season, continues to be a hell raiser and gets cold shouldered for another 2 years. <img src="graemlins/smirk.gif" border="0" alt="[Smirk]" />
Hang on, that sounds rather familiar...

If it's Frank Arnesen, then you're talking about a Danish legend of the 80'ies!
I don't remember much of him myself as I was a bit young when he played, but he got around clubs like Ajax, Valencia, Anderlecht and PSV (where he is now as this director-role).
He was a product of Ajax's focus on the Danish market of young players, and was discovered for the school of Ajax along with players like Søren Lerby and Jan Mølby.
These two were along with Frank Arnesen the foundation of the 'boom' in Danish football upthrough the 80'ies. Especially in 84 and 86, when they got the nick 'Danish Dynamite'.
Other players who made an impact back then were Morten Olsen (today's national manager), Jesper Olsen and a very young Michael Laudrup (who took Denmark into the 90'es)
Arnesen made 52 appearances for the Danish side (W:27 D:10 L:15 - score: 88-54) and managed to score 14 goals. He only got 1 yellow and 1 red card in the time for the national team.
Today he works as expert on different channels, and is probably one of the more respected persons in European football, because of his always serious and calm attitude I think.
But as mentioned earlier, he has also got this job at PSV, and was actually the one who brought Ronaldo to Europe.
Hope this helped ya out Jens...

He's Icelandic, they don't know how to celebrate when they score.
Honestly!

How do you think Eric would have reacted if he had scored against us when he played for Leeds ?</strong><hr></blockquote>
He did didn't he? Well maybe not. But I'd have hated him! Eric's a special case though - he wouldn't have looked smug, just superior.
