I have a really great picture of Old trafford that i took at the Bolton game, perfect for desktop wallpaper.

Yep, thats it - the full version completely fills your computer screen even with a 21" monitor...

Awesome photo Zippy. What did you take it with.
 
Took the picture with a Canon G2 digital camera, the lens was set to landscape mode with autofocus/exposure.

got the camera as part of an insurance claim (i was burgled) and i'm still learing about it's features and how to use it properly...

One of the best photos i took with it was in the lake district, at the keswick stone circles. I took 3 overlapping landscape photos then used the stitching software that came with the camera to seam them together - the picture turned out perfect with absolutely no sign of overlap - totally amazing.

The next thing i want to try is making a VCD slide show that can be played on any DVD player...

Mine too, 26 May, great work Zippy. I just got a digital camera last week. Hope to be able to get a few shots like this myself when I visit OT in March!

The Ironwork on top of the stand looks like a giant dinasour claw!
