Kean warns Fergie off Hanley

Blackburn boss Steve Kean has warned Sir Alex Ferguson off making a move for Rovers defender Grant Hanley.

Hanley is thought to have impressed Manchester United manager Ferguson during his side's 2-0 win over Rovers at Ewood Park on Monday night.

The 20-year-old has established himself as a regular in Kean's side this term, forming a solid central defensive partnership with Scott Dann.
Kean revealed Ferguson spoke highly of Hanley after Monday's game, but he has told the Old Trafford

"He was very complimentary about Grant," Kean told The Sun.

"He thinks he's good enough to play for Scotland for the next 10 to 15 years, and I agree.

"I hope Fergie's not going to be putting a bid in. I said that to him.

"I told him leave it a bit longer because Grant is only just starting with us."

I don't think we'll make a bid for Hanley in the next years Kean ;)

Wasn't he the one who elbowed Scholesy in the face?

Fergie was just being nice about a Scottish defender and was talking to his manager.
Why is this in the press?
Dearie me.

Is he the one who looks like Gibbo's autistic brother? Decent young defender.

Firstly, I couldn't believe it when I heard he was only 20, I'd have him at least ten years older. I was wondering why we'd only just seen him this season. Secondly, I wasn't surprised when Blackburn gave him MOTM, he dealt with pretty much every cross we put in, kept Hernandez and Welbeck quiet. But thirdly, this is no more than a case of a slow news day, and turning a quote from a mananger into a story. There's no way we want another centre back. In fact, I've heard we're looking to get rid of Vidic.

Shocking man. Scandalous. Sort your fecking face out, will you Grant?

Also a pretty poor player. Him and Scott Dann is like having a pair of actual clowns thrown in at CB in the Premier League.
