I would like to see a different country. Thailand could be wild. You get jam-packed, gritty cities for the classic GTA stuff but also cool islands and jungles. It's also tourist-heavy so the use of English would be plausible for story.

I'd echo what a few others have said in here, I respect Rockstar games more than I actually enjoy them. Graphics, writing, atmosphere are all top notch, but the gameplay is just so boring.
Go to location, hit X to do contextual thing that makes cutscene happen. Play some objectively clunky third person shooting for a bit, then drive off.
I enjoy the Red Dead 2 setting a lot more than urban USA. Highly doubt I'll get this on release. Probably a "play it a couple years after launch" title for me.

This would be a genuine genius move in my opinion, and I'm not sure they'll ever be another landmark moment in gaming to casually do it too. But yeah, not happening... however much I'd love for them prove me wrong.

Not completed a GTA since Vice City all those years ago and largely, I find myself fairly indifferent to them. That being said, I always get excited when the release of a new one approaches.

So I guess that image is confirmation we're going back to Vice City, something that was only rumoured or assumed until now. Honestly, that just makes me sigh. Vity City was my favourite of the PS2 trilogy and probably one of my favourite games of all time, but Rockstar just cycling through the same locations over and over screams creative bankruptcy to me.
Could still be a great game and all, but nothing about the idea excites or intrigues me right now.

There was one team deathmatch you made set near Strawberry, ingame, and it was just a clusterfeck of obstacles in the way that made match impossible to navigate it was like takeshis castle shit.
