I know a bloke offering me 2 United Season Tickets in the Stretford End lower for the 02/03 season :)

He wants £900 for both and £600 for 1.

Is he ripping me off if i buy both for £900?

I think they are about £365 in the lower section, although they may be the same price as mine (£400). I sit in the Streford End 2nd Tier!!

Depends on how much you want them, I wouldn't say it's a rip off really. At least you will get to all the home games this way and when you concider games like Arsenal, where you could pay anything up to £100 off a tout it is definitely worth it.

if you can afford it..go for it. Got a feeling its gonna be a big season for us.
better than drinking it all away

Well if it's choice between going to the games and not going to the games, I know what I would rather do. Not only that, if gfactor86 didn't buy them someone else would!!

£900 is hardly a touts price anyway, a tout is more likely to offload them for £900 each!! It seems to me like this guy is only putting about £60-£70 on the top of face value anyway..........hardly a touts way to go about business.

IMO you'd be daft not to jump at the chance gfactor86.

It is fecking queue jumping pure and simple. Why not grass the season ticket holder to the club and let the season ticket go to those who have a profile of going to the games. What is a season ticket? A property right passed between mates/ highest bidder. Shame when so many wait patiently. Or we are just stupid bastards. So at United if you have money you can buy yerself access to games like the corporate swine.

At the end of the day tho, as a season ticket holder myself, I can safely say that if I couldn't make it for a season (for whatever reason - finances), then I would just sell it for that year.

There is no-one on this website that would say he would give it back to the club for the sake of not being able to make it for one season, not unless your mad!!

Another thing, even if it was handed back to the club, it wouldn't be realeased until the stadium was developed again - so either way it wouldn't better your chances!!

To get a season ticket you just have to keep plugging away and get every voucher every season, it is easy enough to do if you want it. Then when the club next release season tickets (probably when the stadium is developed again) you will be in with a real shout!!
