good site for transfer news .

Here's a British one...

<a href="http://www.soccernet.com/soccernet/editorial/onthemovelatest.html" target="_blank">http://www.soccernet.com/soccernet/editorial/onthemovelatest.html</a>

It may sound funny but the best site for transfer news is - Manutd.com, they never publish anything thats not 100% right (except for the new "my best friends goat says" or "whats in the newspaper" sections).

and I never saw any bollox on skysports.com too...

Soccernet tend to re-write old stories (you tell by the lack of fresh quotes). Avoid them if you can.

soccernet is also american. note the espn logos all over the site. they hire english journalists to write their articles, who essentially steal junk from fleet street and turn it into "exclusive" and "you read it here first" articles that never materalize.
manutd.com is the best site for transfers... why? because they don't print bullshite like everyone else seems to
utid

It's better now. Apparently, we're getting someone called Albert Quixall.

Actually it started out as the online version of the british Daily Mail, it took off, and ESPN bought the online business - but it still remains the online version of the Daily Mail's football articles. Its as bullshit as any other paper, although they do sometimes get genuine exclusives too.

You could check tribalfootball for extensive coverage of everything that will not be happening.

The new one is different, they slap big pictures of reported targets all over the top of the home page, and have features like "my mate knows".

soccernet was founded by a 16 year old british kid, tom harding (i think). . .he hooked up with the press association for stories and publihsed mainly the ones written by daily mail journalists. he got a lot of traffic, this interested ESPN, who are owned by Disney, and they bought him out. he went on with the money from that to found a site called schoolsnet.

i don't honestly think they've had a genuine exclusive since they launched neil, it's purely and simply an online tabloid and IMO is a pile of poo. . .
