Pauls injury is not as bad as feared. MUTV reported during the match tonight that he was travelling to play for the reserves v chester ive been searching the web for scores team etc cannot find anything on this match surely they would not play him already. there must of been something amiss to send him home can anyone throw any light on this

As far as I know, he had a precautionary scan, which came out fine, so he was ok to play tonight. NewsNow shows plenty of sites with reports on his all clear.

all I could find was this article on Sky.

The commentator on MUTV during the Aarhus game said he played a game with the reserves today :D

From TeamTalk:
United midfielder Paul Scholes featured for the reserves in Tuesday night's 3-1 win over Chester and will be available to face Boca Juniors.
David May, Matthew Williams and Kieran Richardson were on target for the Reds at The Deva Stadium as Scholes played for the first time since undergoing a scan on the knee injury he sustained against Ajax last Friday.
The England star, who was substituted after an hour, had tests on Tuesday which ruled out the need for surgery.
United face Argentinian side Boca Juniors at Old Trafford on Saturday in a game in aid of children's charity UNICEF.
David Beckham is expected to figure alongside Nicky Butt in a five-man midfield.
Roy Keane, Juan Sebastian Veron and Ryan Giggs all seem certain starters with Scholes poised to be named among the substitutes.
Wes Brown is expected to start at right-back with Laurent Blanc and Rio Ferdinand in the centre and Mikael Silvestre on the left.
Ruud van Nistelrooy is favourite for a lone striker's role although Sir Alex Ferguson will use most of his players during the club's final friendly of the summer.

That Matty Williams is in a great run of form.
