Top the US PGA money list and European money list. He has already wrapped up the US crown and he is well ahead of the field in Europe:

Donald's Disney win was his fourth PGA career success but his first PGA strokeplay victory since the Honda Classic in 2006.

Still chasing his first Major, Donald has posted 14 top 10 finishes in 19 US tournaments in 2011.

The £531,000 Disney Classic cheque took him on to a total of £4.19m ($6.68m) US winnings this year, with Webb Simpson finishing on £3.98m ($6.34m).

Donald currently leads the European Tour money list with £3.34m in earnings, £1.14m clear of Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy.

Just thought it was worth a mention....well done Luke./

How is there so much money in Golf? It's ridiculous.

The money is comparable with Tennis but golf has far more recreational players and followers. Its incredible a man has managed to play on both tours and be so successful. Many players concentrate on one or the other and don't have half the success.

You've got to congratulate him for his consistency across both tours, but he simply doesn't win enough for me. In the majors, he's very rarely in with a chance, and at the USPGA last year, when he needed to hang in there on the Saturday, he doubled the 18th. But still, that's a magnificent achievement.

He is the most consistent player in the world and wins plenty of big tournaments. He won't be considered a great player until he wins a major. Once he wins one though, they'll snowball. He just needs to break his duck. It's great to see him being so successful. He seems like a really nice genuine lad.

Webb Simpson would have won if this recent rule change about wind moving the ball had already come in.

But I'm surprised Donald hasn't won a major this year. He has been emmense.

Massive congrats to Luke Donald. Cant see anyone doing this again either....

DONALD SEALS HISTORIC DOUBLE

Luke Donald completing an unprecedented money-list double on Sunday - one that has earned the English world number one an amazing £8million.

When Rory McIlroy failed to win the Dubai World Championship - he finished joint 11th - Donald knew he had added the European Tour's 'Race to Dubai' money list title to the PGA Tour crown he won in the USA.

Coming as it did little more than a month after his father died suddenly, Donald did well to hold himself together over the closing few holes knowing what he had achieved.

The 34-year-old even birdied the last three holes for a second successive 66 and took third place in the tournament, one behind Scot Paul Lawrie and three behind Spain's Alvaro Quiros, who eagled the 18th for a notable double of his own after taking the Dubai Desert Classic in February.

Only when he was being interviewed afterwards did the tears well up in Donald's eyes as he was asked what his father would have thought and done.

"He would have been very proud and he would just give me a big hug," he said.

"My father hopped into my head quite a few times (over the closing stretch).

"I didn't really look at a leaderboard until the 13th, but didn't see Rory's name and so knew it was mine."
