Since the 2012 season is more or less done and dusted, I figured I'd get a jump on next year's thread today with news coming through that it looks like belly putters are about to be banned.

It's been a long time coming as far as I'm concerned, it was a blatant rules violation for so long. If you aren't good enough to win without cheating, you aren't good enough to win. Good riddance.

I disagree with the putters. If they really were that good, they'd all be using them. That said, someone might be put (NPI) me right.

Great decision imo...a lot of the younger players using them isnt the right way for the game to go.

McIlroy's finish at the weekend was outstanding. I expect a few others to challenge next year. Kaymer and one of the South Africans maybe

So, less than a month till the Masters I believe, and as far as I can tell, McIlroy seems to be somewhat out of form, and Westwood's putting's gone to shit. How's Keegan Bradley been playing? Wasn't he a belly putter? How's he adapted? Thinking of going with Woods, Bradley, Rose and possibly Westwood for the Masters. Never lost money on that tournament.

It would be fantastic if an Englishman could win a major this year, especially as we have so many talented players.
