Jens' Face
An Arse
not that it's the biggest deal in the world ...
There's a button next to the title of a thread, right, which is supposed to take you to the first post made since you last read the thread.
After a trip or two through the forums, when I click on that button, I am taken to posts I've already read and have to scroll down, often quite a ways, to get to the new posts.
Once that's started, on successive trips through/refreshing the page of the forum, I continue being taken to the same posts. My unscientific impression is also that it often gets stuck somewhere in the second page of a thread.
Do y'all have a suggestion about something I might be doing wrong or some way to encourage this function to work better?
I've tried emptying my cache, but that seems to make no difference. If I close down the entire browser, I think that makes it work again (only tried it once or twice, not sure if I'm remembering right, either). But obviously, I don't want to have to close the browser each time I'm looking for new posts.
Thanks a lot. And, like I said before, hardly the end of the world.
