That’s a huge 16 year old if he’s 196cm :wenger:

Seems like Amorim and the hierarchy like him a lot if he’s getting first team exposure at this stage. Can’t see him playing against Ipswich unless we’re 5-0 up and he’s a sub for an injured sub.

It’s obviously unlikely he will feature today but imagine the balls on Amorim if he gives a 16 year old from the academy a debut in his first game. Maybe if we have a big lead who knows.

Likely to be the bench today considering both Shaw and Martinez are not going to be involved. Massive news for the young lad.

Must be a gut-punch for the like of Jack Kingdon and Louis Jackson.
Probably wanted to have another left footed defensive option. We literally only have Malacia right now.

If I'm not wrong, both Kingdon and Jackson are predominantly right footed players.

For those that have seen him, what do you think?
I think he is far from ready, especially against a team like Arsenal, maybe cup comps, last 15 mins, but as a LWB which is the most likely option if he plays he will probably do some nice things in attack, is a big lad and will do most defensive things right, but no way he can cope yet against Saka

He's a 16 year old kid! I find it mental that he's even in the squad!

Decent player who is physically ahead of his age group but using him in the first team would have to be a last resort. Especially against Arsenal

Think its like Van Gaal using Blackett because of injuries and left foot

On the bench today, and maybe he will even feature if we defend the lead in the end
