Larry Mullin, Royston Brady, Colin Farrell, Pat Kenny, Ciaran Duff, Bertie Ahern, Kevin Moran, Robbie Keane, Aslam, The Artane Boys Band, Clonliff College, Gerry Ryan, Bono, Larry Gogan, Antoin O'Toole and Samanta Mumba, your boys took one hell of a beating.

I hope Dublin go on and come through the qualifiers, your better then that. Brogan is a quality player.

David Kilmartin your a star.

Just back from the match. Am hoarse as feck. I love you Paudi. Going out to get blocked.

Westmeath for Sam. Bring on the Yella Bellies.

I think Waterford would be annoyed about that.

Go on to feck.

Bring on Sam. fecking loively

I fancy us to get past Wexford. We were lucky against them in 2001 when we went to extra time to beat them in Wexford Town. I think we came back from 3 points down in the last 5 mins. This after we lost to meath in the seconf game in the opening round. 2001 was the year we went on our good run losing to Meath in a match we should have won.

What we are seeing now is the true reflection of this team. Paudi has given us the winning belief which my old school teacher Luke Demspey was unable to give us.

We'll meet either Laois or Meath in the Leinster Final, I will be in my usual seat and by christ if we win the Leinster final I will die a happy happy man.

Leinster for me is all we are capable of. By the time Galway, Ciarrai, Tyrone, Atd Mhaca, Mayo, Corcaigh come on the scence we will be history.

We beat the biffs 2 weeks ago and I had great pleasure in putting one up a few good friends. The Dublin result is more a reflection on a poor Dub team. As most counties know Westmeath and Dublin love each other. I was on the hill in 95 to see O'Leary lift sam and see my countymen win the minors. We both hate Meath and Dublin have a long history of Westmeath publicans within the city. So I won't have a bad word to say against them.

I'm on going out to the Kings Head to get wasted and thank your good self for giving ud Paidi

Wexford shouldn't be a problem for a well motivated Westmeath, although it could just be one of those years.....in fairness though, I think Laois still have enough in hand over the rest to take Leinster by a small margin. The Paudie/Micko clash will be a good 'un though.

You are right to call Leinster as the limit of Westmeath's interest this year at least - as soon as the cars start coming down from the North and up from the South any midland or Leinster interest will end. Galway are dark horses, as always, but the way Ciarrai went through them in the league says to me that they have too much ground to make up.

For me its between Ciarrai and the Nordies again.

I dont know about ye lads but I hope a leinster team takes it this year. I rate laois and westmeath have some good players but Im sick to fecking death of watching the ultra defensive northern teams kick people off the park! I mean they just fowl and push opponents outside the 45 yard line and Im surprised this hasnt been looked at by refs! Imo its wrecked the game with tyrone having won the all Ireland with the equivalent of 12 half backs and two full forwards!! I hope either laois or westmeath win it to bring leinster football back into the picture and failing that let kerry do it because at least we can tolerate watching them!!

I agree, hand pass, foul, hand pass, foul seems to be the theme of their play.
