I'm going on Tuesday with my girlfriend and 5 of her girlfriends. :D

As much as I'm excited about all the music, alcomahol and non perscriptions.....

.......They are showing the Slovenia game on a big screen and as there is no music kicking off for a couple of days there should be a big crowd watching it :)

Anyone else going?

Have a great time. I might go on Friday to see Gorillaz and The Black Keys.

Driving down on the Wednesday morning so should be there for the game!

Not really paid much attention to the line-up... other than Muse and Plan B there isn't anyone I think I 'must see', just gonna go with the flow.

The crowd for the footie is expected to be in the 10's of thousands apparantly!

There's loads of band's I'm looking forward to:

Gorillaz, Flaming Lips, Hot Chip, The xx, Carl Barat (hoping Pete Doherty shows up aswell), Muse, The Dead Weather, Pet Shop Boys!, Stevie Wonder! Faithless, MGMT (Think they are clashing with Faithless though :( and my girlfriend would rather see MGMT than Faithless and I'm torn so it'll probably be MGMT..) The Temper Trap, Slash, Broken Social Scene, Empire of the Sun.....

Can't bloody wait.

Plan B is quality but his voice is a bit too high live IMO, enjoy it nonetheless.

Muse are headlining so once again I couldn't get tickets, the curse continues.

This exact video is the sole reason I wanted to go to Glastonbury.

I missed out the last few years and then got tickets this year when they are headlining. Fate, I tell thee.

Cracking stuff mate. Still got the full disk of that somewhere, one of the best performances ever. Not many bands come close to them for putting on a live show, seen them before and they are brilliant.

Lucky bastard, if Muse end up playing anywhere, it's guaranteed I won't get tickets.

Well, if you're willing to come to Ireland they are playing Oxegen on Saturday. Pretty sure there is still tickets for that.

Im going. I cant decide if im going to go Thursday evening or Friday morning.

My girlfriend and mates are going on Wednesday but i need to be in work on Thursday for a meeting.

I'll be working down there again, if he can get down Thursday cos all the camping spaces will be gone by Friday

I'm going down tomorrow night/early hours Wednesday morning. Not looking forward to the drive - last year, what should have been a 6 hour journey ended up taking 16 hours. Getting there at 2am and setting up a tent is not something I enjoy.

I'm going to be at basicly every single one of those acts as well.

My girlfriend will be pitching the tent on Wednesday.

Usually camp in Pennards Hill or Park Home areas (South of the old railway), but i think were going to camp North of the Pyramid stage this year.

Get there thursday night, that way you can wash all the travelling out of your system and get the rest you'll need for the next day. Also the traffic on the Firday getting in is a nightmare. Last time I got there on the Friday I made it to the site after being stuck in traffic for four hours travelling that last mile, after finding everyone and getting me gear dumped, it was gone 7 and I was fecked and not up for it.

Arrived at the festival, chilling in the car park til it opens, any caftards here yet?

Very jealous, you on your own or you got a car full?

Car full.

Just watched the game at the pyramid stage, couldn't see where the crowd started and finished. A conservative estimate... 150,000 people?

It was a nice family atmosphe through rather than an electric one as I guess there were a small percentage of die hard football fans scattered about.

Great stuff though I'll get some pics up when o recharge my phone.

 Still have a great one. Remember we'll be playing Germany on sunday, now that will make for a great match to watch there.

Gorillaz we're apparently a bit rubbish last night according to people they have interviewed at the festival.

Another Glastonbury I'm not at. How do I go about tickets for the next one?

Watched some of the coverage of other bands and they were all bringing out guests just about. Scissor sisters bringing out Kylie and just about everyone like Dizzee and that dance group bring out Florence and the machine singer but Muse go and take the piss and wheel out the Edge then do one of the best songs ever. Was a top version too.

Muse are on the best three pieces ever and in his interview, he agreed. The sound the create on all instruments is very thick, different and better to almost anyone. Like a modern day Pink Floyd but heavier. Awesome sound.

Oh and if anyone spots the .mp3 or video file about then give us a heads up. Still got the last one they did on DVD.

Got back last night. Didn't bring my phone because I couldn't be bothered charging it at the Oragne tent - really should have just brought it since there were plugs to use backstage.

Had backstage passes for the Dance Area - I'm not into dance music at all but it had some cleaner toilets, a nice bar which was quiet and shaded and a nice (Cheap!) place to buy food. It was a great place to go when there was nothing on and I didn't want to be sat in the sun. Saw fat boy slim, Plan B, a random dance act and for some reason Craig Charles back there. They also showed ALL the footie on 7 or so screens around the bar. :)

All in all, it was fun. Idk if anyone else saw them, but the Bootleg Beatles were amazing.

Had an absolutely brilliant time.

Highlights - Snoop Dog, Vampire Weekend, Bootleg Beatles (The crowd doing Hey Jude before they come on was epic), Muse, The National, Phenomenal Hand Clap band (I caught the tamberine they threw into the crowd!!!), Jack Johnson, LCD Soundsystem and Stevie wonder. All of them were great.

Gutted that Jamie T clashed with Muse... but since I'd never seen either I had to go with Muse. Also missed out on Plan B :(

It looked like the best one for quite a few years, very jealous of all you attendees.
