Gladiator on blu ray

i love gladiator anyway ( especially russell crowe
)actually, i bought the day after tomorrow and it was excellent in blu ray too.
it really does make it so much clearer
Blu-ray doesn't make anything clearer on my tv, but that's because it's 19 inches and purchased in 1995. Weighs a lot too.

My dad and I went to Costco to buy a new one for my grandma about three months ago. Got a 20+ inch one for a decent price. The part that blew my mind was the fact that my dad was able to carry it out with one hand just by holding the built in handle on the box.
I read that Gladiator was quite a poor conversion to Blu-ray

Well I meant compared to other Blu-rays....It was just reviews I was reading because I was interested in getting it myself.

Red Cliff(extended version) arrived the other day. I've got 5 blu rays now - but have only seen one(and loads more on DVD to watch). I just don't have the time or patience/concentration to watch movies anymore. :verysadsmilie:
The encode is technically good from what I've just read, it's 24Mbps MPEG4 AVC, DTS MA HD 5.1, film takes around 40GB. Whether they mastered it well is a different matter.
