Girls and videogames

What? fecking what!?
Sooo.. the last time I played a videogame must have been Super Mario on Nintendo 8-bit.. or perhaps Sonic the Hedgehog on a Sega Mega Drive.

But my brother just bought a PS3, and it's looks very shiney.. Do I dare?

And my brother would never forgive me, he's 16 and has been saving for it for ages. When I was 16 we used to go to the arcade, it was much cheaper, more fun and there was always bunch of boys around :D

Arcades are fun. Me and my brother got to the last level on Time Crisis once, without using any extra credits. We had a huge croud of people watching us by the end. Then some girl walked in front of the screen and stopped, blocking my view, during which time I was killed. Unfortunately shooting her repeatedly in the head with a computerised gun had no effect.

Ahh.. the power of taking a guys eyes of a videogame. How I miss the days.
 
The only videogames girls buy from my store are Pony games, Wii fit, brain train or that cooking tutorial thing.
 
i dont have a sister, wait a sec, yes, now i remember, i have one from my mothers latest marriage

but i don't think she plays videogames, she's 20 or something and i think that if i ask her about the joystick she'll reply "the real one? or the one that has batteries?"

can you believe her nerve? what a scank!!!!!!!! :mad:

It'll probably gather dust like mine did for a couple of years, then you'll decide to play a couple of games, CW.

But anyway, feel free to talk to our resident gaming experts. . . you can debate anything from polygons to the gravity gun to how shite gaming has been in the past 20 years. . .and how the PS3 can't do black screens. Riveting stuff, really.

What's polygons? Gravity gun? I just want to waste time really...

Polygons are something that do something. Gravity gun's really cool, you can pick things up and throw them around. I'm making one of my own. And although playing games 24/7 is a bit sad, they can be great fun.

In a short while Little Big Planet will be coming out for the Ps3 which you could waste a lot of time on:D
 
So we have Xbox 360 and PS3 nerds now?

At least that will ease some of the burden of Weaste to balance the scales

True, but why even bother arguing about consoles? Its a waste of time, be happy with what you have, your never going to persude the other person otherwise.
Its like trying to persuade a Liverpool fan to become a Man Utd fan!
 
I thought the thread title read 'girls and video cameras' at first.

Needless to say, I was well disappointed.
