Cream of the MLS players will probably be available for loan in January. Giovinco has been taking the piss out there, although admittedly at a much lower level. The man has talent though, and could be a player to shake things up and add a different option, perhaps from the bench.

If not us, I reckon he'll be a good pick up for someone.

We don't need players for the bench. We need starters.

I'd have him as a starter. I doubt Toronto would let him go out on loan though.

He's a good player, but there's a big chance he wouldn't adapt quickly enough to be of much help. He's only ever played in Italy and the MLS, two very different leagues to the Premier League, plus he's tiny.

Nah, I'd try and aim a bit higher than fill our squad with more "good" attackers, but not great.

It's a loan, and we lack attacking options. Besides, he's good enough to start for us now if he settles.

Rado won't like that one.

Just activate Griezmann's clause in January. Cash in full at 12:01am on New Years Day. Atletico don't even get a say.

Griezmann just said that he was happy in Spain that he likes everything there and he doesn't feel the need to play in France or England.

Sadly this wont stop posters claiming "just activate Griezmanns clause for a few million more" every time we are linked with a high profile player.
It must have been posted 100 times on here already since last summer

Yes, I'd take him for 3 months and play him behind Martial every game, so he can show Rooney how to create chances for both himself and his teammates.

Yeah , the player must wanna play for the club for this to even work and a lot of people never take that into consideration (as everyone should wanna play for Man Utd).

The MLS Messi. He is electric.

Im not sure he could go past higher quality defenders though.

Think the about double your wages offer he'd get might help attract him. As Madrid or Manchester lifestyle is a no brainier. There is other things like legacy and history and trophies but being a very short career money has to be near number 1 priority.

Money is very important need but we have to be sure (as much as possible) it's not the only source of motivation for the player. Sadly money is the only thing Man Utd have to attract top players if they are wanted by others too.

Kouroux cheer up my friend! United have one of the greatest histories plus fan base and stadiums in the world. We are also in a league position that gives us an excellent chance of silverware this year (albeit unless we solve the goal conundrum it will be unlikely)

It matters but tbh to the money grabbing players, I doubt prestige and history matter too much. They mostly look at money and whether the club is currently competitive or not. United has money and is competitive enough at the moment so there is always hope to sign big players. It's just that other teams are more attractive in that regard.

He's absolutely rapid isn't he? Would his tiny frame be able to handle the premier league?

I wouldn't be against a short loan to get some quick player in, but it might just take games away from someone like Periera which would be a bit pointless.

Why would he want to leave Atletico to join United in the January transfer window, especially when they are through to the knockout stages of the CL and the chances are we might not be? Same with leaving for Chelsea.

I don't know about that... T Dot is a beautiful city with beautiful women.

He is being paid a ridiculously in Toronto. He also loves the city and plays during the warm seasons and goes to Italy in the winter. Life is good for him. He is also in the Italy squad these days.
