Man Utd, Man City make offers to Italy U16 defender Giorgio Piacentini

Manchester United and Manchester City are going head-to-head for Italy U16 defender Giorgio Piacentini.

Piacentini, 15, is tied to Albinoleffe, but yet to sign a pro contract and has attracted offers from both Manchester giants.

Gazzetta dello Sport says England is looming as his next destination, with Piacentini's family now mulling over whether United or City will best serve his development.
