against Chelsea when he came on in the second half i thought he was doing a fairly good job, nothing brilliant but he was definitely causing a problem or two for the chelsea defence.

I would like to see him continue, lets face it we have no-one else to play left wing with the skill and speed he has. i think fergie is playing it right by giving him a bit of a break here and there.

On another note, giggs is closing in on 30, and does get injured rather regularly, i think we could do with buying an out and out left winger - any suggestions?...

Sad to say, but I think the fear of picking up another hamstring injury has hampered his confidence to raid the wings. He did look pretty good today though, hopefully the rest and flak has been taken on board. We will definately need a new LM sooner rather than later. But we wont need to think about that for a while. Let's hope Giggsy gets back to his best soon, because Ole isnt as good on the left as he is on the right.

I was thinking that he might be better utilized as a sub. His pace isn't what it was, but it's still enough to frighten defences, so if the defence is tired, he could tear them to shreds.

Ole's right footed but I'd be interested to see Forlan play there as we all know he's as good with either foot, lovely left-footed finish by him today. :D

It was a cracking finish, in some ways that kind of excludes him from playing out on the wing - we would probably want him to be on the end of things rather than being the supplier, i think he might find it a bit to restrictive playing in a winger role but it could be worth a try - he's certainly proving his worth now, thats for sure.

Our squad seems to be really getting strong now, the defence is scary! Blanc and O'shea couldnt get in the team today! the midfield will soon be hard to pick as there is not enough room for veron, keane, beckham, p.neville, butt, scholes, giggs, and eventually fortune - all have been playing well. I think a forward and a left winger is all we need to add. It's looking good.

Now THAT would be one hell of a signing - one that would drive leeds fans nuts - how much do you think they would sell him for? - i think he must be valued between 15-20 million...

Also good to see the support he received from the stands.

I thought Giggs was good when he came, showed flashes of brilliance in parts, long may it continue! As for a left winger, Kewell!!!!!

Who knows? Now Fowler refused to go, may be they will think about that if we really make an offer on Kewell.

Hear hear! Harry for United and no, this is not just Aussie bias. Imagine what a player with Harry`s skills would do in such a classy team as ours. He would give us more options and I don`t think of his being a threat to Ryan as Ryan will be looking at a different role in the team as he gets older.

Forget the stories about Harry being difficult to get along with. Mark Viduka (whom I like) said he doesn`t speak to Harry off the pitch as Harry ignores other Leeds players, but since when has Keano been a convivial mixer with the other MU lads off the pitch?

Keano goes his own way and even gave what I thought was an ill-conceived and inconsiderate (towards his fellow Red Devils) interview with Four Four Two last year. No, he was NOT misquoted. In that interview his attitude to mixing with the other players was a `I`ve never given any of them my phone number` and a somewhat careless sounding attitude of indifference. He probably did not intend to sound so dismissive but that is how it came across.

We can afford another anti-social player at MU if he has the skills of Harry Kewell.

maybe harry doesnt talk to the other leeds players because they are a bunch of wankers?...

He would be a great addition to the squad, no doubt about that, we should make an 8mil offer just to kick off the negatiations...

Definitely. I don't think any Leeds player is strictly not for sale now. A player such as Kewell -- great skill, good pace, nice shooting, plenty of experience in EPL and Europe, is the most perfect choice I can think of.

Hell no. Free signing or not, i've seen a lot of him this season and he can be so hit and miss it's unbelievable. Lazy and only has a good game occasionally. We'd be much better off going for Vicente or Duff imo.

I'm not getting on Giggs' back, but all those posters who say that Giggs was better on Saturday are having a laugh.

All he did was ATTEMPT to go on more solo runs which unsurprisingly yielded little result.

It is difficult to say whether he will ever recover his best form, but he certainly didn't, however he huffed and puffed.

For me, he shouldn't even have come on.

Hmmm. But did you notice that cracking bit of close control by Ole at one point, leading to a superb cross?

Point being - I don't trust your judgement. And I have a long memory. ;)

Yes...better on Saturday than I've seen him for while. I think age, fear of injury, lack of form are all getting to him. He definitely seems to have lost a yard and a half of pace and his crossing is for shit these days but on Saturday he still gave the Chelsea defence some uncomfortable moments. Hopefully that was just the start of a return to something like the form we know he is capable of.
