GIGGS IN OR OUT?

Dear Fellow Reds,

In recent days, speculation regarding our beloved Giggsy has come to a head regarding a possible switch to Inter Milan. His performances so far, and indeed in the last couple of seasons, have been mixed. Putting aside sentiments for our beloved Giggsy aside, should SAF take a cold hard and objective look at strengtening the squad when the transfer window opens in January and cash in on Giggs, eventhough he is such a legend at OT?

IMHO, we've had a decade of wonderful Giggsy memories and have marvelled at his pace and brilliance. Though he's Red through and through, his sporadic brilliance isnt enough for us to sustain a challenge on the Premiership and in Europe over the next few seasons. He's also moving on tho his thirties soon and is, I believe, performing at the peak of his prowess now. At this stage of his carreer, I believe that in the best interest of the club, he should be allowed to leave,but only in some kind of swap deal+ CASH in exchange for a couple of super players from elsewhere. Its is always difficult to part with family, but if SAF proceeds with speculation, then he has my support. I am a firm believer in the overall long term interest of the CLUB, and I think deep down, after much hard and reasoned analysis, SAF will let him go.

What do you think?....
 
Giggs has said he has no plans to go anywhere. He has four more years on his contract and has said he is very happy at United. This has been discussed in other threads, you need to look before you post.

What Giggs say or wants United to hear has got no bearing on his future. Ultimately, it will be SAF who will decide on team affairs. Case in point, Jaap Stam. No United player in his right mind would ever want to leave a great club like United. You have certainly missed the point of this discussion. And mind you, if you cant carry on a decent discussion without being dismissive and rude , YOU my friend, should read properly before imposing your will as you seem to rightfully think you are entitled to. Now I didnt mean for a war of words with you, much more if you are a fellow Red, but if I need to, then you better brace yourself...
 
I have read, and you have balls to be suggesting otherwise. I had a longer post originally written but I decided to shorten it and suggest you look at the other post on this same subject.
 
Everybody in this forum has the right to start and post his or her own thread as and when they like and wish to. And what makes you think, you have the right and certainly the authority to direct traffic as you please? If you find this thread repetitive or boring, then go elsewhere. Nobody is forcing you to read this. It is folks like yourself, bent on imposing your will on others that cause so much consternation. Is this disturbing trait common amongst all Americans? or is is just you and your arrogant self?
 
Never said anything about having any authority, that is you ASSuming. And quite wrongly I might add. The idea ( since it went right over your head) was that it was discussed in another thread, and without saying it ( thinking that you might be smart enough to figure it out for yourself, guess I was wrong about that wasn't I?) figured you might want to take it there where it was already being discussed. Thought you might get more response there.
 
And if I should decide to start a thread here and now,repetitive as it maybe, what's it to you? Where does it hurt you? As I've said earlier, (proof again, that you CANNOT read ), if you find that repetition irks you , then shooo..go elsewhere.... please do not suggest nor direct as I didnt ask you to. That is your opinion but I am hardly a newcommer here, unlike yourself and if you keep insulting other members on the Caf like this you might find yourself on the outside looking in. I have not called you one name. I have been logical in my explaination of things. Unfortunately you are not mature enough to see that. I was only suggesting to you that you look at the other forum and take it there because you would get more response there. A mod might come along and look at this and decide that you are antagonizing this whole thing by acting like a know-it-all twat and close it telling you we don't need so many threads on the same topic.
