Sampdoria have some nerve, selling their best striker in January...
More minutes for Macheda then. And a lot more pressure.
He had 18 months left on his contract. Why would they sell him? Contract running out? This guy is such a good target man. He's got a mean header to him. Cassano gone and Pazzini as well. Macheda is young and talented but he can't cover that on the double.
Inter still need forwards, and Pazzini can do the "big man" role, giving Leonardo options. How's Pazzini going to fit in at Inter? I don't see him dislodging either Eto'o or Milito.
Wouldn't Pazzini be something of a replacement for Milito in the near future? Milito's 32 in the summer and Pazzini has some similarities in terms of the role they play.
Pazzini is a good striker but IMO he fill struggle at Inter just like Gilardino struggled at Milan. Both are good strikers, but neither is cut out for the highest level.
Great player... Julio Cesar came back and saved a penalty as well.. As soon as they got rid of Benitez things looked up.
Interesting formation today though, looked like 4-3-3 with Diego Milito, Pazzini (whom came in for Coutinho) and Eto'o where all playing second half as forwards and it worked. I think this formation might repeat it self, and that is with some serious attacking power, especially when Sneijder returns.
And that French clown Biabiany that went the other way for Pazzini seems like crap too. I have absolutely no idea how Rafa could prefer him ahead of Milito. Something tells me that he will not pose to big of a threat to Macheda. I feel for Sampdoria though, last season they had a world class attack in Cassano and Pazzini that took them to the Champions League, now both are lost for very little profit.
