Heres my ideas

1 Chris Kirkland
2 Peter Schmeichel
3 David James
4 Keep Barthez <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />
 
Kirky is too good for you lot.
 
I would love to get Kirkland. IF we offered 8-10m I don't think Liverpool could turn it down even if they wanted to if we could guarantee the young lad 1st team football. I think we have wasted 1.5m on Ricardo.
 
I agree Barthez should go. He does not have a big enough physical pressence. He also tends to fall back too much than going down properly.

I would like to see Kirkland come in. As someone said, if we can offer him first team football he would be mad not to come. He will not make the England squad until he plays first team football. Dudek is too steady to get dropped.

It's because he often uses his legs to save goals. When it doesn't work he falls. But he has saved points for us this season more than once. feck off. :mad:

Honestly, I think some people just wanna get rid of a star name just for the sake of it, it's hardly beneficial to us get rid of the one of the best shot stoppers around.
And Poo will NEVER sell us one of the brightest prospects. I hear some gooners talking about wanting to sign Kirkland though, and if he gets frustrated sitting around on the subs bench, could move south.
And forget about Calamity James too, he's a good shot stopper but probably more error-prone than Fab!
 
I agree with the Barthez out thought, i have never thought he would make in England, he has done nothing wrong this year but he just isnt the best. however your replacements are questionable,

Kirkland, good choice, liverpool wont sell though.
Schmeichel, too old and history. a legend though.
James, just no, he is a good keeper sometimes but just too error prone!
