Unlike Hagreaves however he doesn't outshine his more famed and celebrated teamates on the biggest stage of them all.

His glove work has improved a lot but his batting has gone from bad to worse he just carn't get a start, a wicketkeeper needs to chip in with runs think of Stewart at his peak, Reed should be playing.

Given it's the England and Wales Cricket Board, that's surely fair enough? We'd lose the other Jones if we banned the Welsh, and worse United would lose Giggs! Plus if we only play born and bred Englishmen, the one player showing any consistancy in the batting wouldn't be elligible to play...
Don't think Jones is shit, but given Reed is clearly the better wicket keeper, and I think has the better batting average playing for England over the year, surely it's a no brainer?

Jones was born in Papua New Guinea, grew up in Australia and his parents are from Wales, you gotta admitt he's a bit of a long shot
Dammit, I knew he grew up in Australia (fat lot of bloody good it did him), assumed he was born in Wales with that name though. Either way, he's entirely elligible, and it's good that he's around to put pressure on Reed. But thats the way round it should be currently.

I don't mind when we get a gem like Pieterson, but Jones just takes the piss.
He is poor and I dont think Read is the man to replace him either, Read is better than Jones but the best in the country, glove wise and batting, is Foster
