On-loan Middlesbrough midfielder Geremi has blasted suggestions he will join Manchester United in the summer.

The Real Madrid star's future is far from certain, after the Spaniards rejected an initial bid from Middlesbrough.

But the 24-year-old - valued at £9.5m by Real after a successful season on loan at the Riverside - insisted that talk of a close season move to Old Trafford has no substance.

"There's been no approach from Manchester United," he said. "I've heard all the rumours, but they're not true."

I reckon he could do the Keane role, possibly - any thoughts?

he's too expensive!..i think he will cost 8-9m

It's been discussed to death. Geremi'd be a good buy, but is too expensive, and the main emphesis on transfers will likely be elsewhere in the team.
