Just read an article that he's developing a Star Wars sitcom. Yeah, a sitcom that takes place in the Star Wars universe. Seth Green(of Family Guy and Robot Chicken fame, and Airborne of course) is helping as well. I thought tweaking the original trilogy was stupid, and making the prequels could have gone better, but a Star Wars sitcom, that's just ridiculous.

Wasn't he looking to do this years ago? I remember hearing about around 2005/06 or so. He needs to let someone like Peter Jackson take over the the franchise. Someone who was in awe of the originals as a kid and would treat the franchise with the respect it deserves. The Clone Wars has a wealth of material in it, as does the New Jedi Order time frame.

I (sadly) attended a Star Wars convention at the weekend. There was a Q&A session with the English guy who played the original Boba Fett. He said Lucas was planning to do a 'Live' version after the cartoon series. I guess thats what he was referring too. Neighbours in space

Who'd you go dressed up as?

Handing the reigns over to a fanboy might make matters even worse.

 I dragged her along. She hates Sci-fi. I was somewhat underwhelmed. It was shit and Boba Fett announced who won the United match even though i had been avoiding hearing the score all morning. fecker.

As myself. Batman obviously.

Shame - Boba Fett was the ultimate badass when I was seven

I doubt it will be a sitcom. It could be pretty good, its meant to be set between Episodes 3 and 4.

This has been in the works since Episode Three.

And I hereby declare I like the prequel trilogy.

Damn right. Quality film... I want to have a 90s movie night with my friends but I can't find that on DVD.

Is this from the infamous Christmas special

Lets be honest. Lucas has already lost it back then.

That Christmas special was immense! I had a bootleg of it for a while and was a right larf. The Princess sings a lullaby and you meet Chewbacca's hairy wife and gormless kid. It's a wreck.

I learned the true spirit of "Life Day".

Lucas f*cked Star Wars

Speilberg changed guns for walkie talkies in E.T.

Lucas and Spielberg raped Indiana Jones

I agree with South Park, somebody needs to stop them now!
