Gaz Neville all star

What with all this talk about buying Rio Ferdinand, a so-called 'world-class' defender, it strikes me that we already have one who can marshall the defence for us- Gary Neville.

Ferdinand didn't even get into the World Cup X1- there can be no doubt whatsoever that Gaz Neville would have edged out Cafu at right back. I say play Larry and Gaz in the middle,Phil can do a job on the right, Mickey on the left of course. What do other reds fans think?

You a PLC shareholder or something ???

Whats the matter the money ain't coming from ur pocket or is it ?? :) :)

Gary Neville can play decent football at right-back but he's not suited to that role judging by his mediocre distribution and lack of effective over-lapping runs in support of Beckham.

He is first and foremost a central defender which despite his lack of height he does do an excellent job in the heart of the defence. In fact I would rather see him as one half of the first choice partnership for us with the new guy than Blanc or Brown.

How the hell has this cnut made it as far as 40 posts? Look at the crap he's posted before:

but at least we've found the answer to our defensive frailties and the season's midfield conundrum: Seba Veron looked exceptionally comfortable at centre back and should play there from now on, imo. Move Blanc into the playmaker role and everything slots into place...

This Liverpool team is packed with quality internationals and there's no doubt that in Heskey and Carragher they've got some world class players...

Edu just dominated central midfield, like he has been doing all season, everyone knows Martin Keown's qualities. The way he just sprays the ball around from the back is just breathtaking sometimes. Reminds me of Beckenbauer.

Personally. I thought his eyes were too close together anyway- like that monkey boy Giggs
