hughes, robbo, bruceie and keano would be proud

thats a big "feck OFF" from Gary Neville to his doubters today. especially those who wanted to hang him after the city match. Well deserved MOM today. I dont care what anyone says about him, for me he's the best right-back in the league.

As a matter of Fact, the whole Back 4 + Barthez were great, and the goal they conceeded was not anyone's fault, it was our bad Luck, mind u , theirs was worse.. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

 What's your problem? I think AlGred said nothing wrong. Our goal conceded was just bad luck (I think Diouf used his hand to hit the ball back to Hyppia). Besides that, our defence was fantastic.

Agree.

Still remember some people seems always want to hunt for Neville's or Micky's head everytime they made a mistake. But yesterday they just showed perfectly what's the meaning of "Red thru-and-thru". PL is a battle field, and we need true fighter who is willing to die for United.

well played Gaz, but he owed us that performance after the derby day disaster. Job well done against the scouse mouse Owen.
Silvestre...hmmm?....I'm hoping it's not just a case of "Look this way, I'm a free agent after Crimbo".
I have a feeling he won't sign.

Credit where its due, I've not been a big fane or Gaz or Mikey but they were awesome yesterday. I thought Mikey should have got MOTM cos he marshalled the defense as well as having a stormer. Now, can they keep up this level of performance with the Arse and Depo on the horizon. I hope to GOD that that they can. They all know they are playing for their futures at OT and its obviously been the kick they all needed. SAF, the master motivator!! :D

I hope Micky doesn't start day dreaming again he's gonna get a centerhalf job at a big club and stalls on his new deal. ;)

Get it signed, now!

Great game of course for Gary and Slivestre. They reminded my about Steve Bruce and Pallister. If we can have this solid defence until the end of this season...we will be the champion again.

That's strange they remind you of Steve and Pally. Gary and Micky are full backs ;)

No one on the planet will have felt worse after the Siddy game than Gary himself.

I was furious at him, and rightly so. That doesnt mean I dont rate him. He's quality, and he'd run through a brick wall for Manchester United!

He cocked up, took it on the chin, and returned to have the game of his life against our real rivals. Top top marks Mr Neville. I salute you too.

Silvestre, Fortune, RVN, Wes and Ole all had the same fighting spirit yesterday too.

(still grinning)
:D

100% agree. That's the spirit of a real Red. Actually I hope Fergie make Gary our captain when Keano and Becks are both out.

Gary will have been gutted just like the rest of us after the City game. I was angry with the whole lot of them. But Gary's a red through and through. Not only was the performance class but the guts he showed, determined not to go off when Owen left his studs in and gashed Gary's leg open, bet that's sore this morning. But there was no way he was coming off. 'Cos Gary Neville is a red, is a red, is a red, Gary Neville is a red, he hates Scousers!

:D

Yes. He fell down on the ground a dozen times and his shirt has been all dirty. But every time he fell, he just got back up and continued fighting. The scene he refused to give up even when his foot was bleeding so heavily was just so moving. He used his behaviour on the field to teach all of us what's the meaning of the phrase "Red thru and thru". Anyone who still said we should get rid of him is a 100% ABU by all means.

Well done Gary Neville, you did us proud.

But consistency is what distinguish a world class player from an ordinary one and unfortunately this type of performances are somehow rare from G Neville.

Impressed yes, convinced no.

I still prefer J O Shea.

But G Nev is back in the right track

he was very good last season... i can't recall him being inconsistent at all.... infact he's one of our more consistent players...but his mistakes get highlighted... feck knows why.

he's the best right back at the club...and i hope he starts there again.

he's the best right back at the club

I doubt it O Shea is better than G Nev. More powerful and more consistant

you are such a cnut

O'shea is not a RB, he's a CB. Gary Neville is our best right back, and he has been for years.

J OSHEA can play equally well in every position in the defense.

As SAF had confirmed he is still a bit too young to play as a CB. But unlike the best rb in the world no player had ever played the merry go around with him.

no really nobody cares

For close minded ppl you are right.

For those civilised ppl who really like to talk about Manutd and support the team rather than the individuals, weeell I have serious doubts on that

Have you ever heard that Joke about a chinese and an Israelite who tried to teack football to an Englishman?

Seriously you have dissapointed me. Yes we may not agree on certain issues but I have never doubted your loyalty or insulted you.

That is why Forums have been created not to insult but to discuss

True. But every forum gets some madmen whose opinions aren't worth discussing.

Guess what, you're IT!
