Not been into the computer game scene for a long time, as I couldn't be arsed getting a new console or a decent PC. However, just got a new laptop, 2Ghz processor, 2 gig RAM and a nice Geforce 8200M graphics card, so its not too shabby.
Anyone reccommend any decent games to pass the time with? Not fussed what genre they are.

Football Manager09.

World Championship Snooker 2005(I think, it's a few years old anyway).

What type of games are you into?

If you like RTS games download the Command & Conquer series. Will give you hours of fun and it's an excellent game with many different ways to play it. Age of Empires is another one. Actually I think I prefer that to C&C.
Also the Broken Sword games are enjoyable and are different from your typical game. There's the obvious ones like Football Manager, FIFA etc. which you can play for hours on end aswell.

There's loads.
