Following up my URGENT thread, regarding Fifa 09 and PES 09...

Im getting my xbox later. What games should I get to play on for Christmas?

Id like a variety... dont all have to be brand new titles.

I like playing games with the lads, so thought the new "Smackdown v Raw 09" ? just for a laugh and some general fun.

Then some of these? Any ideas?

Call of Duty 4, Modern Warfare? should be cheaper now due to COD5? and Ive heard just as good, if not better?

Sensible World of Soccer? due to the nostalgia and addiction

Help me! Even if they are older games, just ones I will enjoy.

Am new to the console business, last had a PS2 a few years back!

Games worth a rent (As in you will finish them in rented time)

Star Wars Force unleashed

Wresting games (they get shit boring after about 30 minutes)
Civilization IV (wont finish it be will get over it)

Rainbow 6 Vegas
Rainbow 6 Vegas II

Im thinking of getting Cod WAW for christmas.
 
Games for playing with the lads aye.

Well Fifa 09 is a must great fun to be had there.

Smackdown vs Raw is a good shout.

COD4 for the shooter in you.

Soul Calibur IV, classic beat em up

Left 4 Dead, run around with your mates killing zombies what could be better?

Forza if you like racing, or Burnout if you like racing and wrecking cars at the same time.

And of course the classic get the mates over game, Rock Band.

Well of course its just my opinion, I just don't get the fuss over it. It's average at best.

I enjoy it more than COD myself. But then again i'm a casual shooter player, not very good at FPS'. Halo was just more fun though, if one guy was kicking your arse you could grab the invisibility and waltz up and shotgun him in the face. With COD if you're not ridiculously good when playing online you'll just get your head kicked in.
 
Halo 3 would be absolute dog-shite if it wernt for its Multiplayer.

It is the best exclusive ....well its now on PC but its the best erm..."origional" exclusive to the 360, and arguably one of the best games available to the 360. You should be able to get it realy cheap now so get it!!!

Can't wait for ME2 :drool:

You played KOTOR? Its basically a next-gen version of that.

If you havent played KOTOR, then I'd sum up Mass Effect as a terrific RPG/shooter hybrid for the 360(and PC) with a fantastic presentation, great storyline, brilliant characters and just a memorable gameplay experience.
