Chelsea have apparently signed (well, he will sign when he turns 18 in 4 days) this kid from Barcelona.

He'll go on loan to Sporting Lisbon for a year.

Anyone know anything about him? I don't.

AFAIK there is not any sort of formal connection between the clubs. I can't think of any other player's we have loaned them.

because players who move from barca you would think would be moving to a different club to get more playing time.

however city and chelsea aren't renowned for giving tons of playing time to youf. why leave barca if you wont play much in your new club?

i don't think anyone would be calling it 'weird' if they went to say arsenal.

Pretty poor on FM for me. He starts off as one of the decent youth players at Barca but then goes on to do nothing. Lets hope thats what happens

I'm not sure that's necessarily what he meant.

They both probably got far better contracts then Barca would give them, or other clubs.

It partially is what I meant, the other part is that neither of them seem to be good enough for those clubs, they seem to have been signed on the basis that they played for Barca's youth side, rather than how good they are.

No doubt others will have seen more than me and will be a better judge but seems weird to me.
