Chelsea and Manchester united are both interested in the talented 16 old Brazilian (play in Gremio). But Chelsea representatives are already there with a deal. Gremio want 20m.
That is a very nice analogy.Ineos inherited a house on fire. Makes no sense to buy a new lamp before you put the flames out.
I mean we already are buying the best young talent around, for the first team and for our academy. Chelsea are buying these players for a very different purpose to us, good luck to them, it's a nice money maker for them. With time I expect to see us competing properly for some of the best young talents in countries like Brazil and Argentina. Radcliffe is known admirer of what Madrid have done there with the likes of Vinicius and Endrick.
But we have too many acute issues that need addressing, and finite resources. I expect the vast majority of expenditure to be focused on players ready to contribute immediately, and then with time - as we establish a better balanced, stable and competitive squad - for us to compete more aggressively for these types of talents.

That's if they make money from them, they're paying huge fees for these 16 year olds.I mean we already are buying the best young talent around, for the first team and for our academy. Understood. We definitely have a very good recruitment strategy at youth level, as we have just seen with Chido Obi and Lusale. We’ve also spent in the past for players like Mejbri and Garnacho. Etc etc. I would, however, create almost a second category for players like this one. Players who are touted (and how accurate that is and how much of it is marketing from the club and agent remains to be seen) as superstars in the making, and are consequently demanding transfer fees more akin to established players. One would say, players who are labelled as massive or generational talents and require a contextually enormous investment at their tender ages.I mean we already are buying the best young talent around, for the first team and for our academy. It's okay we seem to be stacking our academy with the best talent around, not fussed by Chelsea's business. We all know they'll be loaning him out a few times and the selling for a profit.
Looks very good. I reckon he’s the best of the young Brazilian wingers at the moment.
Didn’t Chelsea sign another guy from Brazil a few weeks back?
Are Chelsea trying to reach mid 2010's Parma and have over 100 players out on loan and 200 on the books?
