although it'll take a mirracle for us not to end the season empty handed the future looks very good indeed, next season should be a corker!

Why?
A number of players should be reaching their peak, i.e. Bex, RVN.
SAF will have another large bag full of millions of pounds to spend on players. (hopefully more succesfull ones then Veron)

Agreed. 3 seasons out of 13 potless is not a bad record. We need a couple of world class defenders and another Teddy-type link man. While I don't agree with the Veron knockers.

In addition, think about it this way.

'95 = Potless
'96 = Double
'98 = Potless
'99 = Treble
'02 = Potless
'03 = ?

And do you think our players were all fit ? We were without Beckham and Gary Neville, Veron, Johnsen, Roy Keane have been injured recently, Blanc was injured last week and Barthez hadn't trained the day before.

4-2, 4-1, it's still four goals conceded by your fantastic defense.

I noticed that all your players were able to walk, whereas Bayer's struggled..

Yet, they still looked the better team..
