Television Futurama S11 (2023)

I haven’t watched this in years did but watch the first of the new season. Thought it was decent, if a bit too meta and on the nose.

It's Futurama, does this need answering?

Only observation, which is a minor one and maybe only I picked it up, is that Billy West's voice does sound a tad more aged.

Not discrediting at all by the way, the guy is 72 and has been the voice of one of my favourite characters for 20 odd years. I hope he can keep going until the re-re-reboot after they cancel this season :lol:
 
The first time it returned after those crappy feature-length episodes it was surprisingly excellent but that last 26 episode run felt really off. I think the magic may have gone. I'll give it a couple of episodes though because they're cameback from the dead once before.

It had a perfect finale. Plus some great episodes, Torcehy, Assie etc.

I loved the feature length ones!

I do agree on the pre-feature length series being far superior to post, but still felt the quality was good enough.
 
That's disappointing. Don't think I'll bother with it.

Not just dull, it's also ridiculous.
.
The whole motherhood fails when she's forced to see her kids being eaten by predators.... including Zoidberg. I mean wtf!

None of her family were supportive, which again isn't a good portrayal.

Then comes the surprise that the DNA belongs to Leela rather than Amy is another sucker punch.

Well these points are also very true. I was also eye-rolling at their forgetfulness
