They finished 13th last season on 47 points. Resigned Sessegnon on a free (after he stalled significantly in his development at Spurs). Just about to sign Emile Smith Rowe, and potentially signing McTominay.

Very thin squad and they lost a lot in seeing Tosin leave on a free, and obviously Palhinha.

--------------------------Leon
Castagne-----Diop-----Bassey----Robinson
--------Smith Rowe-------Pereira
Wilson------------McTominay-----Iwobi/Sessegnon
-----------------------Muniz

Bench: Tete, Mbabu, Reed, Lukic, Traore, Jimenez, Vinicius

They could obviously improve on their wingers, they lack bite in midfield, and there is very little depth. But if they sign McTominay I'll be quite keenly observing his career there.

They've played us off the park the last 3 or 4 games regardless of result.

This midfield would lose every midfield battle.

They lack bite, and I wouldn't expect them to start this midfield. It's just what looks the best XI on paper. Surely they'll get a holding midfielder and they might shift Pereira out wide (rather than Smith Rowe) if they end up buying McTominay.

I think you’ve got to swap Smith Rowe and McTominay’s positions.

That’s ESR’s worst position by far and he rarely rarely ever played there for Arsenal. I think he and Iwobi will interchange between LW and Cam.

Sounds like Fulham are signing a DM named Andre from Fluminese too

Probably same as last year, slow start and then they'll improve in second half of the season.

Silva's a good manager so they need to keep him as it's a good fit for both parties.

I was thinking swap McTominay and Perreria! Not that McTom is great there, just that Perreria has looked neat for them in more the advanced position.

Big headache if they're trying to fit those 3 into the same team. Agree with @Gandalf saying McTominay wouldn't really make much sense on the face of it.

Ah, someone has finally signed Andre! I'll be interested to see how he does as he was linked to a lot of big clubs (us included) not long ago.

I always like to look at second half of the season form from the previous season ahead of a new campaign. It can sometimes be an indicator of how a team might do the following year.

Wouldn't exactly call it relaible but I do think it's better than random and we've got the recent examples of Aston Villa when Emery took over and Newcastle under Howe.

Anyway, Fulham are one of the teams that improved in the second half of last season. Not by a huge amount, 26 points in the 2nd half of the season, 21 in the 1st. 10th best vs 14th best. A lot depends on what you do in the summer of course to keep momentum going or change it if you slipped away. If they could maintain 10th across a full season that would be great for them. Muniz was on fire in February/March.

Palace the most interesting club on that note, but they lost Olise which is potentially huge. Brighton and West Ham need to watch out and address what was going wrong. New managers so maybe they will.
