I'm not much of a Thuram fan, but whom would you purchase if price was not an option?

Desailly and Thuram would be great or Thuram and Ayala.
 
Of all that list Thuram would be the one whod be best suited to England and almost guaranteed to succed as well as Desailly. Nesta has the potential to be a huge flop in the English league.

I perfectly agree. Thuram has all the physical ability of Sol Campbell for instance, but he's better technically. You just never know with the Nesta's and Cannavaro's of this world. Heck, even Materaazi did just 'ok' for Everton before going back to Italy and becoming one of the best defenders around.

Thuram for 15m...you guys have convinced me he would do good in the EPL. Especially his familiarity with Blanc and Barthez.

Blanc will come back for one more season (although I'd prefer Ayala/Nesta here and Blanc at home, nothing against Blanc, but youth/experience over age/experience).

I do think United will go after a FB, probably Finnan. That means Gazza and Micky fight for LB. Apparently the Poo are after Duff now, so SAF better act quickly or go after another winger.
