He'd cost at least 35m, and I can name about four or five players I'd rather have for that money.

United are very very poor when it come to transfers. When Sheva was playing for Dinamo Kiev alot of guys did suggest that he would be a great signing after we saw him play in the CL against Arsenal. But what happened, nothing. We just stood buy and watch Milan sign him. Now that we see him banging the goals for Milan we want to sign him and for 4 -5 times the price. Similar is the case of Rio Ferdinand. If United have lots of money to spend, I think charity would be the best option.
