Officially the best poker player on RAWK.
So come on people, I've got my 360, I've now got far too many games for it and yet I've stumbled across a real gem (apart from the Darkness, both 30 and PS3 owners should check it out, but not at full price), I found a game for £10 that has actually made me want to play a game non-stop for a long time.

Project Gotham and Gran Turismo are good games (not to mention Burnout series and SOME Need For Speed games), but has there ever been a better simulation of driving than Forza 2 using the Microsoft forcefeedback wheel?

No. No there hasn't.

Quite simpy, the game is as realistic as you want it to be, the graphics are clever (Up amongst the best detailed cars ever vs framerate) and the whole upgrade system seems much more managable than most. Plus the big issue is that multiplayer plays a decent role, but ultimately the game works just as well for both sides of that particular coin.

Just my two cents, but the last driving game that made me actually want to play it as much as this (apart from MarioKart on the snes) was TopGear on the snes. I wasn't much into driving games, but the combo of Forza + the steering wheel has knocked the addiction of Guitar Hero 3 wayyyyy into touch.

Anyone else got anything to add?

I thought that you liked playing games on the PC? I suggest that you look there - GTR2 maybe for a start?

I am also a little confused how you seem to try and make a comparison between Forza, GT, Gotham, Burnout, and NFS - then somehow stick the original Mario Cart in there for some good added measure, and then bring up simulations.

Forza motorsport 2 really isn't that addictive. Its essentially the same as all other driving games, although i do agree it is marginally better than PGR and GT. Mario Cart is a far more addictive game and to an extent so is Burnout, although i wouldn't class these two games as driving sims.

Ahh, I forgot about this one. I was slightly intoxicated when I posted this, I meant to say about the way it could switch between simulation and arcade and work either way.

It's miles better than Burnout btw, but that of course depends totally on what you are after in a driving game.

Incidentally, number 3 is rumoured to be over 2 discs because of the shear amount of cars and tracks. 2 had plenty of cars, but not enough uinique tracks, so hopefully that is true.
