I'm nosey, I can see an announcement in the newbie forum, but permissions have been changed so I can't see it. What's going on?

It stinks. The Newbie Forum needed that like a submarine needs a screen door.
It looks great and is just what the newbie needed to make some general order.

Errrm, so that there is not one long list of topics about all sorts with topics disappearing off the front page every hour thus causing new ones on the same subject to be created all over the show. It was an anarchic mess, it now has some structure.
Also, if you could be actually bothered to look before typing, you'll find that they have 5, not 6.
it also gives the newbies the structure that will be expected of them once they hit the main forums. Frankly im sick of moving topics from the United forum all the time.
It seems like a good idea. Good work mods.
