forget stopping the dippers from getting Duff.... What about Cissé?

Fair enough Duff is pretty damn good right now, but we can get Kewell if we don't get Duff. But now I hear Houllier has confirmed he's interested in Cissé and if Liverpool get him for a reasonable price, we are going to miss out on a man who can only be described as possibly the future worlds best striker.
 
This is the way I see it... the dippers have signed dud after dud with respect to attackers... smicer, heskey, diouf, cheyrou etc... surely by the law of averages they're gonna get 1 right...

Mayb Cisse... he has massive potential... but can they afford him... or will he go since no champs footie... surely other clubs will come in for him too ?? to be honest we've never been in the hunt for him... I think we;re looking for a more creative player like Ronaldhino rather than an out and out scorer like Cisse(since we have van the man)...

I rather see them get Cisse than Duff... but hopefully neither... lets hope they sign malbranque and Kanoute...
 
It isn't about what they want it's about what we want. We were better than them last season and if we got for the right players we will remain so because we need less of a surgery.
 
I dont care if they get Duff, I dont want him really, i dont think we have a need for him but I do think Cisse will be a massive hit here and if the dippers sign him it would be a disaster, if we dont get him I hope he stays there or goes to someone else, Fulham pherhaps.
 
Cisse's got potential. He is powerful and can be described as an ideal modern day forward. I think he'll be better suited for the Arsenals or United. He thrives on service and at Anfield, you're lucky if their midfielders even give you one decent chance a game. He can't create chances by himself. Liverpool don't need a goalscorer. They need a creative force. He'll be a bad signing.
