As far as I know Juve's shirts that were imported from Nottingham at the dawn of the century were a missprint; the original colors were black and light pink, but the factory instead delivered black and white taken from Notts County. In Turin they were pissed, but they had little choice so they stuck with black and white stripes.

As far as Azzurri, that blue colour is the colour of the House of Savoy, and therefore for the Kings of Italy until 1946.
